Job Summary:
The Med-Surg RN provides direct patient care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The nurse collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.

• Monitor patients’ conditions and recognize changes requiring intervention.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.

• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-hospital care.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and infection control standards.
